Hala Basyouni

Hi! My name is Hala Basyouni, currently I am a junior at the City University of New York, majoring in Computer Engineering and minoring in Mathematics. I decided to study computer engineering because I am really interested in both software and hardware. From coding small projects to building robotics. Computer engineering is such a creative field it is because it will help to widen my creative horizon and provide solutions to the problems people haven’t thought about yet. This major is about much more than programming; it is about inventing and building solutions. (INNOVATION!). My career goal is to become an AI engineer that has the ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, computer science, and mathematics. An ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.
